By the way, for broadcast TV, the TV will not get reception while in motion. This is due to the nature of digital TV signals, which don't hold together well when the receiver is in motion due to changing multipath interference and perhaps other things. You can, of course, use a DVD player or similar non-broadcast video source.
(Some motorhomes do also disable the TV while the vehicle is in gear, generally for legal reasons because it's in front of the driver or visible to the driver. That would not affect your setup, I think.)
This has nothing whatsoever to do with its inability to find channels or to exit setup while parked in your driveway. I don't think your geographic location has any bearing on that; either the antenna signal isn't getting to the TV for some reason, or there's some oddity in the TV setup menu or firmware, or something.
