TV removal ???

I have an 07 Coachmen Cross Country diesel pusher. I am trying to figure out how to remove the bedroom tv from the cabinet it is mounted in. It comes out on a swivel platform but i do not see anyway to remove it. Can't see any screws or brackets holding it in place. I know something is holding it down, I just can't see what it is. Have any of you ever changed one out, and if so how did you do it? Thanks for any info.

Good for you Brian! Hopefully you can use the same bracket on your next TV.

No such luck on the bracket. Going from a big box tv to a flat screen. going to modify the base to make it where I can screw it down secure.
Sounds good Brian! Good Luck with your new TV!

  • The TV is out, I repeat the TV is out.....LOL. I finally found the two screws they had countersunk from the bottom holding it in.Looked like pin holes, turned out to be the screws.

Brian, I think all you're going to get are guesses without some pictures or lucking out on an owner of the same brand reads your post. The best idea so far is look at the bottom of the sideout and at the sides. That slide is exposed somewhere. Pictures would be a benefit.

Yeah you are probably right. The tv is mounted inside the dresser cabinet and when you open the door it come out on a swivel type platform that the tv sits on. I cannot see any screws from the bottom, that is the first place I looked. I cannot see behind the tv but can see the left side and do not see any mounting brackets. I will attempt to post a pic on here as soon as i can.

Did you look for screws going up thru the bottom?

Yep, that is why i am puzzled. I do not see any screws from the bottom, so i cannot figure out how they mounted it from the factory.

  • If it is a wall mount, and it sounds like it is, then there will be two latches at the top of the mount. Pull up, tip the TV ovv the mount.
