TV's Control two TV's in living room

We have this issue with our two living area TV'sf and they are different brands! The front tv is an Element. The midship tv is a Sony. The only controls that consistently interfere are the power and volume controls. I have not found a way to fix this yet, but adding a screen to reduce the sensitivity of the ir recievers sounds like a possibility.
