My 2000 40' Beaver PT at 34,000 lb with a 425 HP Cat C-12 consisntlly averaged 8.5 towing our Jeep GC.

Our 2002 Beaver Marquis at 47,000 lbs with a 505 HP Cat C-12 seems to avg 7.5 towing the same Jeep.
