I have a 2007 chevy 2500HD with a duramax. I used to have a 5th wheel toyhauler and loaded it up with sand toys. I never got more than 9mpg running 65mph.

I sold the hauler and bought a gas class A, chevy P30 454 engine. Never got better than 8 pulling a trailer. 9mpg not pulling.

Now I have a DP with cummins ISB 5.9 275HP and get about 8mpg pulling a heavy trailer. Not pulling I get about 10, running 65mph.
