I love the by monthly post on mileage. In reply to the poster about the "econ" button you will not see 2-3mpg increase, I wish, go back and tell your buddy that you used it and got 14-16mpg and thank him for telling you about it. :B What it will do is keep the transmission in the higher gear longer before it down shifts giving a slight improvement.
I get 9.3 on the coach for all of last year over 10,000 miles. That is with a lot of mountain driving out west. The CR-V got 30 mpg in 12,000+ miles. I was extremely impressed with the CR-V as it recorded 30 mpg in Yosemite. Those who have ben there know what I am talking about. Those who haven't ben need to go.
