Very unlikely that the Allison transmission in economy mode will give you that kind of MPG.
Flat roads= best MPG.
Economy mode makes little to no difference on flat roads (i.e. you are in high gear in either mode all the time).
Yes, economy mode will aid MPG in rolling hills and mountains, but you will not do better than on flat ground in those conditions.
I used my econo mode thinking i was being smart, and then i tried it without it and it was better without it. Not sure why, seemed liked it just changed the shift points, so it didnt kick down as fast climbing hills. Once we hit CO I ended up shifting manually a lot. Using my RPM gauge as a guide as well as my engine display.
