just an update, project NOT yet completed
its been one 'error' (on my part) or one physical mechanical problem after the other
when i planned and started this project, it would have been nice to know that this was available, cut to needed lenght
this one is 3/8 but i found 5/16 at the parts store
quick connect to hose/tubingauto parts stores have them in stock,
i could have used almost any pump with the correct pressure and flow rate and been done already (instead of looking for one that came with quick connect ends
as it is i'm going to need it anyway
