There are many upgrades you can do or have done on your current coach to make it handle better. Suspension upgrades such as a track bar, Swaybar, shocks, airbargs and the CHF can make a huge difference. I had a DP 35' long for many years then I bought a TT and 3 years latter I am back in a Class A this time a 35' Gas. I did not like the way it handled in the wind to much sway and body roll. I made a couple of upgrades that made a huge difference and tamed this coach down by a huge amount.
I did the CHF using Hellwig extension links. , I put on a road master safety steer, I had a Helwig additional HD rear sway bar installed.
These mods cost me about $1200 and I paid a local srging shop $150 to install the sway bar. The difference in the wind is night and day. I have driven to the west coast from Mi. several times and I would take my new coach in a heartbeat. A long day for us would be 350 miles and more often 275 to 325 a day.
I assume you have the F53 chassis and a v10 if that is the case I would also recommend a 5star tune for your motor this tune made a big difference in the motor and transmission performance.
my point is by the time you swap your coach for a DP you will have many thousnds of dollars spent. For a few thousnad dollars you can make your present coach very driveable.
