I agree with both. The extra weight does help the buffeting. I also think you will become more comfortable as you accumulate more miles though some people never become comfortable with it.
The last couple of days we've been driving down through Missouri and Kansas with a bit of wind. Some people will never become comfortable in it. Each gust isdifferent as is going over or under each over pass.
