I up-sized our 87 Southwind from 225s to 245s, the POs downsized from 8r19.5 to 225/70r19.5. There was a need to put a spacer in between the dual rims to keep the necessary distance between the tires. Sorry, but I do not remember what thickness the tire place put in for a spacer. There was no problem with clearance for the bigger tires in the wheel wells. If you were to have clearance problems it would have been with the front tires but you already have them there so you should be in business.
