No one else seems to have the problem I do with mine.... I use a 45-degree clear elbow to attach between the sewer outlet and the pump. First time I tried to twist it on the prongs on the pump bayonet all popped off. Fortunately FloJet replaced the housing under warranty.
But to not break it again, I filed down the little prongs on the elbow, but apparently too much so now it is not sealing well. It just seems that the housing on the pump is not to the same specs as standard bayonet products. Am I doing something wrong or have others encountered this? I even try to connect one of the red slinky hose ends to the pump and am afraid to twist it all the way to lock else I might break the pump housing again...
