I second this. Some companies even offer to drive your rental to the track and set it up for you. They say nobody can get on the roof because they don't offer attached ladders - so the race fans bring their own ladder :-(
Regarding buying a used Class C - I would rather buy someone's used, entry-level RV if it was their "baby" and stored indoors when not in use, than to buy a premium brand that's been sitting out in the weather for years. Weather abuses ALL RV's regardless of their price tag.
