For our motor home dish we use a manual set up with tripod when roof mounted one is blocked by trees. Originally I had a small tripod from CW. It was a pain to set up and I dreaded messing with it. finally got tired of ole shakes and got a larger tripod from Radio Shack and a piece of conduit from Home Depot. Put my manual dish obtained from a junk store (garage sales also good place to look) plumbed it with a post level obtained for 5 or6 bucks. Now I had a solid steady antenna, easy to aim. Turned into a piece of cake compared to ole shakey.
