my brother in law has one...I think the Fiberglass roof is the best thing about the unit
his unit is on the Ford
I am going to reseal all the openings..vents, antennas etc.. the roof itself looks good after these many years
the jack system is a little iffy...and was hard to get a qualified person to fix it shortly after he bought it..but other than that...
oh yes the converter is in the left rear compartment...with no battery tender....so...charge your house batteries for a day or two..then disconnect shore power..otherwise it will cook your house batteries.
chassis battery will not charge via shore power...get yourself a knife switch for chassis battery and when r.v. is not in use disconnect otherwise your chassis battery will be dead in a few weeks....you will need to put a battery charger directly on chassis battery if it does go dead.
running ford engine will charge chassis and house battery no problem...
