Have never used a wet bath, so the thought of taking a shower "all over my bathroom" is alien to me. I know there are some (lovely, very expensive) class Bs with dry baths, but before I eliminate so much of the class B market because of a wet bath, I'd like to hear from people who have them.It seems like the upside is you get a much bigger shower, with the option to sit down while you're showering. But the downside seems like it would be a bathroom that's wet or damp for much of the day: the floor, walls, even the toilet. I imagine the next person walking in to use the john and slipping on the floor.What's been your experience with having a wet bath?

My experience...slipping and falling :BHad a older trailer that had a wet bath. Hated it.......somebody uses the shower and everything is wet.But it was the roomiest trailer shower I've ever used.Ended up wiping down toilet/sink with an old towel that was then dropped on floor and swabbed around then hung outside to dry off.Hopefully things are better now-a-days

We have Pleasure-Way Plateau TS with wet bath. We do not/not sit down to shower.We have plastic curtains on velcro which covers the vanity & area wall where toilet roll is located, When in the shower we face the toilet NOT the vanity/mirror to wash and plenty of room,standing up. I am 6ft1inch 190 lbs.No problem. While I make breakfast(I cook all meals), my wife removes the plastic cover from around the vanity & side wall, quickly dries off toilet seat and puts dry mat onto shower floor. Takes a couple of minutes. There is a ceiling vent and we dont have problems with much wetness anywhere. Some Bs have sitdown showers but many Bs are like ours. We never use public facilities.The demand heater provides enough hot water for our showers and by the time the dishes are ready to wash the water is hot again.I think having the plastic curtains across & covering vanity cupboards and on the back wall keep everything dry too. That is retro-fit and not standard but easy to do.We use our bathroom throughout the day and if it is a bit wet it's not the end of the world and certainly doesnt stay wet for long. It is a non issue for us.Hope this info helps.AL

We had a wet bath and it was OK. Had a shower curtain on a ceiling track that covered 2 1/2 walls. Closed curtain woud cover medicine chest, tp holder, towel rack and exit door. Toilet seat cover down kept it dry. Smaller footprint in the bathroom equals more living space outside. Best part was at the end of the trip, you can hose the whole bathroom down!Norm

We had a wet bath in our Lance TC and it wasn't bad, it was all fiberglass and built to keep the lower cabinet dry. To keep the moisture down my DW always wiped it down after we were done using it. On the other side I do prefer the dry bath in our current MH though. It is a lot easier to use, more space. JMO

Non issue. Using the hose sprayer carefully limits wet to you and immediate area. After drying yourself give the walls/floor a quick wipe. Hang towel up in shower area. Put bathroom style rug back in bath area (prevents slipping). Turn on bathroom vent if not already on. In a few minutes the bath is fine, any bits of water on the walls and sink will quickly disappear and do not affect the ability to use the bath. We use ours on every trip.

Not a big deal. We keep a small squeegee in the bathroom and do a quick wipe of the walls when we're done, then use our used towel to dry the floor. It takes just a minute and the bathroom is dry and ready for the next user. If the curtain is wet for a while, we'll leave it loose until it's dried. and we remove and wash it frequently (at home)

FWIW, I personally don't find microfiber to make very satisfying towels. It's great for other things, and I'm sure it does dry quickly, but it's not absorbent enough to dry off a wet body well or quickly, IMO.

I want to thank everyone who gave their experience. It was pretty much what I expected, although it's nice to see that many people don't wet baths to be nearly as much a PITA as I would have expected.

We always take our showers at the end of the day just before bed. This is if we use the RV or the campground showers.
Anyway, when we finish, we hang the towels in the shower on COMMAND hooks we have installed on the wall, leave one of the shower doors open and the curtain loosely hung. By morning, everything is dry.
Oh, and we use microfiber bath towels and wash cloths in the van. They dry quick....

Mine is old and has a 24" bathtub with seat. I can stand or sit. Shower curtain keeps everything dry that needs to stay dry. After use I wipe the shower area and curtain with a 'Shamwow'. Moisture that's left is gone with the exhaust fan.

I agree with all the above and will get a sqeegee for the next trip. We have a teakwood bath mat and we love it. The shower curtain dries quickly.

I have an aisle shower in my 2011 Roadtrek 190. The shower curtain completely surrounds you and there is a drain in the aisle floor that takes away the water. Just use a squeegee on the floor to push all of the water away into the drain that did not flow there on its own and dry the inside of the shower curtain with a shamwow cloth. Many Class B's still come with the aisle shower as standard - the so called "permanent" bath is an option in many models.

I think the wet problem is one of the advantages of the old aisle showers. In our Roadtrek 190 all that gets wet is the shower curtain and the floor. The Fantastic fan is inside of the curtain, so you can dry it all very quickly.
