I know this is opening a can of worms but......I have been RVing since 2001 and can count on one hand the times I have stayed at Walmart. One time I stayed because I saw a Prevost there. I thought if it was good enough for him it's be OK for me.
If you do use Walmart do you call ahead or talk to the manager or employee? We are headed back to the Midwest in a few days and was interested in ideas.
I do use Wal*Mart - yes We always call ahead - it works great as n "A to B" stop when we need to make time.
As we tend to travel in the off Season it works - no need to run the Generator for A/C or Heat - Lights - Security - Cameras - no low hanging trees - avoids waking up Neighbors when arriving Late or Leaving Early.
Down south we have run across a Wal*Mart or two that sells Worms, think they were in Cardboard or Plastic Cups, not Cans. :S
