valance removal
I want to remove the window valances and day/night shades and use blinds instead, looking for some input. Thank you Bob

Typically if you look up inside the valance near the walls you will see mounting screws. You will need to remove the valance to work on the shades. We have MCD shades with valances and they work very well.
