vehicle speed sensor- cat C7-allison trans combo

Got a funmover 39c on an f750 cat c7 chassis with a speedometer going wacko....one second at 0, then 90, bouncing around. Would be easier to service if the engine wasn't cutting out thinking its over ...

FYI

Our Phaeton C-7/Allison went into "limp mode" and wouldn't shift out of second gear. Bad speed sensor harness plug on the Allison transmission tail shaft. Pushing in harness plug got it working long enough to drive it to the Allison Service Center in Fort Wayne IN. They replaced the plug in about 15 minutes and got us back on the road.
