- J-RoosterExplorerI was there two years ago and we had Verizon coverage there! X-2, on the Navajo Fry Bread! I had my Navajo Fry Bread with Bison Stew up the road at the Navajo Twin Rocks restaurant!
- DSDP_DonExplorerSounds like the Navajo fry bread will be something to look forward to when we stay there. We'll be there for three days in May.
- vermilyeExplorerI had good Verizon signal strength at site 20 in Gouldings, however it was slow. Campground WiFi was a bit faster...

While there, try the Navajo fry bread salad at Goulding's restaurant. Very good!.
What they said, we even did "take out" of just the bread for lunch in the rig
WiFi in the campground was reasonable. Don't recall how good the Cell coverage was.
PS
I just checked the Verizon coverage map (3G only) it appears to me that the coverage is "spotty", like it's just hill tops. Gouldings Campground is down in a small valley and I would expect poor to no coverage. - dsuretteExplorerWe stayed there for several days last year and had good connections with a Verizon hot spot.

WiFi worked, the signal strength ranged from good to very poor and the bandwith fluctuated from acceptable to nothing at all. If you need the Internet, bring your own solution. Verizon had a signal, Virgin mobile didn't.
Wi-Fi is free and most times pretty good. Sometimes from around 5-10pm it slowed down or cut off. Very slow Sprint Internet: No service - wallynmExplorerGet a Smoothtalker 0.5 to 3 watt signal booster

Does anyone have experience with Verizon coverage at the Gouldings campground in Monument Valley Utah? I need reliable internet access when I am there and I want to be sure I can use my mobile hot spot.
