I use a Tow Dolly and this topic makes me think that generally the dolly is pretty safe with many safety considerations. The vehicle is strapped down with both front tires to the dolly. The vehicle frame is tethered to the dolly. The dolly is chained to the hitch. many things to fail to make the car come off except for one thing. What if the hitch actually comes off? I had never thought of that so now I will look to chain the dolly to the frame.
