I will find out next year, when I have my Westy shipped to the states. I plan on travelling about 20,000 miles, so I guess I will hit the prairies on my way.

most prevailing winds are from west to east so if traveling cross country its better going from west to east if possible and have the wind give you little push,you'd be surprised how much fuel that saves!
