View year and towing
Opinion on buying a 8 or 9 year old View or equivalent needed. Like to hear from anyone with a View or equivalent that is towing. What model motorhome and what are you towing? Thanks Nick

I have an 08 View 24J that I purchased used last year. After much research, asking anyone who would listen and endless hand-wringing, I decided to flat tow a manual Mini Cooper.
Mini does not recommend towing but my research showed that it was do-able with the View. And my Mini was purchased used, so I wasn't too concerned about Mini's warranty being voided should tow-related problems occur, which did not happen.
About 3,000 miles of towing under the Mini's belt and I couldn't be happier with my adorable combo. The View is great to drive, tows efficiently and the Mini is a dream to tow and an absolute kick to drive!
