- John_JoeyExplorerNo thanks, don't need a part time job or another money pit.
- gboppExplorerNice, I like the vintage units. Thanks for sharing.
- timmacExplorerJohn Wayne looks to big for that motorhome in that pic, motorhomes sure have cam a long ways now.
- RFCN2ExplorerLOL - I had a 1975 GMC motorhome. I got mine down to the last 20% and it just stuck at that. No matter how much money and effort I poured into it. Anyone old enough to have owned cars in the 1970's should think back to how unreliable they were.
But if you are just admiring the looks the Travco is a great coach. - DaveinetExplorerI knew I recognized that coach. That is the one Jim Bounds from GMCCoop worked on. I remember when they first got into it, they found the vertical stringers near the door had rotted completely away up to about a foot above the floor. They had a very difficult time trying to figure out how to replace/re-attach new metal, as you really did not want to weld up against the fiberglass shell. Jim does through work, so I'm sure the work that was done was done right. Even though they have gobs of money invested, I don't think it will sell at that price. Hate to say it, but the only way to recoop the investment is to use it.
