Thank you Everyone for the feedback! We're going to do it. My biggest concern now is traveling across the Mojave on I-40 in July. I'm in CA and thinking we stay the night in Barstow and leave very early in the am.
We're fairly early new RVer's, about 4 year nows, no major trips, Mostly extended weekends in CA. this one will be two weeks, paso robles, Barstow, GC, Las Vegas,Provo Utah, Elko NV, Reno, and back to the bay area. The major stays will be at GC and Provo.
I used the RV trip planner, ok app, but looks doable 2200 miles, 13 days.
Any feedback on travelling I-40 from Barstow to GC is appreciated.
