Water heater not operating & City water issues

I used my rig last week for five days. Two issues occurred that need my attention: 1. Water heater would not fire up under 110V nor 12V operation. The 12V did fire up and then after a few minutes...

I guess it depends on where the dripped water will go. For example, if the Anode Plug on our Suburban leaked, the water would run off the metal "face" of the appliance. But if the 120 VAC element leaked, that water would run BEHIND that "face" and enter the coach itself, under a cabinet. I definitely would not want that.

But I think (and this is a compliment!) you are somewhat of a perfectionist. So Yeah, Change it Out.
