Thanks for all the responses. We already knew about carrying a spare tire.
Our plan is to just carry the tire, we will keep it in one of the bays. My mechanic hubby will also have an assortment of tools from his HD mechanic's tools.
We will be spending 6 months a year here in Alberta, based at our daughter's acreage, this is our permanant addres. We won't be going too far this winter, until at least mid-February, maybe not before April.
We plan to sometimes tow our Prius on a dolly, depending on where we will be going. Sometimes we will have the use of a car, or rent one, depending on where we are going, and for how long.
The KS was imported by the last owners, we are the 3rd owners. It has been registered here in Alberta for the last 7 years.
