QdaM, just keep in mind that whatever coach that you find, there will be compromises in one area or the other.
We are on our second coach and ordered both from the factory just the way we wanted them.
You asked about a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. We've had all three in both coaches and really like them. There is nothing more convenient than doing laundry in your motorhome while you are working on something else.
Once, we used the RV Parks washer/dryer facilities and someone left bleach (on purpose?) in the washer. Our brand new towels were spotted. We never used a campground laundry room again. If you do a load every day or every other day, you never will have a huge pile.
The dishwasher is very nice to have and they are fairly efficient with water usage. But, as you mentioned, all of these appliances take up storage. It is worth it to us.
We also chose a 'bath and a half' model. It does take up closet storage but worth it to us.
Like I said, everything is a compromise of some sort. You just have to figure out what YOU want.
