If you think you'd purchase a used one, over the coming years look at the new ones thoroughly and make note of models you like. Then when you're ready to buy you can zero in on those models. It will make choosing a lot easier!
This is good info here, it's exactly what we are doing so if we go the used route we are already familiar with the rig. What we have been doing the past 5 years or so is going to the Hershey show and other local ones crawling through the rigs, chatting with dealers and manufactures reps, and other owners about them. We get as much literature on them as we can, write down MSRP, sale price and other notes, so we can refer back to those years and models we really liked when we go to buy.
