The problem with "in town" locations is total lack of on site parking for your RV. That is going to likely mean $$$ to store your RV off site. After living all my life in and near Portland were out in semi country and love it. 13 miles from town big enough to get all our shoppjng. Eniugh room to have our RV at home. After spending most of my working life traveling all over the country, I am really in love with the SE US. Yea, it gets humid in the summer, but the people, oh my, so friendly and polite. I would move there in a heart beat, but DW wants to be closer to family, so were where we are.
