What happened to the middle states of the country? The south is hot in the summer and the states that border Canada are cool in the winter. There are a lot of states in the middle that might meet all your requirements. Of course, I am biased living in SE Indiana. I note you are hitting the northwest coast first and last, sounds like you may have a landing place in mind already.
