What blogs do you follow?

Looking for good traveling blogs. Preference would be for B-class travelers, but not an absolute. Also like if they are video blogging.

So far, I'm following tosimplify.net, and on youtube: mike wendland (roadtreking) and chris travels (he's in Alaska now).

What are your favorites?

  • Well, I follow my blog :)

I don't full-time but I take long trips and have been on this one to the Pacific Northwest for 8 weeks.

And there is Bob Wells, van-dwelling guru, with lots of other features and forums:

And a very helpful blog regarding the workings of all things Roadtrek:

I have many blogs I like to follow, but alas, my allotted data per month is limited so I have to conserve.

Here is a link to Hitch Itch. It is a website of blogs devoted to traveling. You can peruse many blogs there. enjoy.

  • I'm not a blog follower but drop in now and then to a few. I prefer the ones that are sharing info and photos with fellow travelers, rather than bombarding with so many commercial messages that it's hard to find the meat.

(Mike Wendland turned me off when he began pitching everything from packing cubes to Roadtreks. More sponsors than a NASCAR driver.)

Anyway - Kimbo Polo is a forum participant who posts good information on her travels - currently on theUS west coast (her blog has a long list of other blogs, too.)

Frugal-RV-travel has some good free info on their site (along with their e-books for sale).
