I saw a Country Coach Veranda driving down the interstate once. I just didn't see the interest in that model unless you were handicapped. The dirt, leaves, etc., getting in between that mechanism just seemed obvious. And, the living room was cramped with the kitchen being on once side with the partially blocked sliding door.
Something like that would be perfect for my 93 yr. old Dad who can barely get around on a walker. He also has an electric mobile chair that we use to take him shopping. Having a Veranda for a person with limited mobility is perfect as they can enjoy the outside without leaving the coach. Otherwise, the porch is small for any family use.
Newmar makes handicapped units which really make more sense to get the person out and on the patio with the group (just my opinion).
Safe travels,
MM.
