What C's have 25' widebody plans like this?

I really would love to buy the '96 240WB Coachmen Catalina I just found for sale BUT have to sell my present tt first (disabling pain for me and dementia for DH makes hitching a huge project)..so,figuring it will be gone (my usual:) luck!)I would like to know what other manu's make that floorplan. It looks to be about perfect for us..it actually measures 25'.And I need the WideBody model as we will use the dinette for a bed for DH leaving it up all the time while camping. When I actually get to buy one,it would be easier for me to have more than one manu to search thru. Thanks! Janalee
  • Well,my camper sold today..Will be the first in 28 yrs. w/o one..won't look now until Spring. Thanks everyone.

240 model number from Coachmen in that era might have had actual bumper to bumper length of 25 to 27 feet. When I was shopping their Mirada models, a 29-something was almost 34 feet, longer than the 32-foot long 30RQ I was considering as an alternative.

Don't expect numbers in model names to be physical specifications. Or if a length, might be cab to rear bumper, or nose of cab-over to rear wall. If actual length is critical, you had best measure it.

Also in a C, same model on a Chevy Express will usually be 20" or so longer than the one built on E-series, until Ford stretched the nose of the E-series.

There is a Jamboree/Tioga that has the floor plan as you describe and it is the same as the coachman in the pictures that I have seen. It is the Jamboree/Tioga 26Q.

It was made from 2002 to 2007 it is a wide body. You might look for one of those, I have one and it works out great with the rear bed.

Here is what it looks like

+1 on the 26Q. We have the Tioga. Great floor plan for us also. Huge cargo area, and the length is easy to handle. Fits in a pull through parking space. Looked at similar 25'/24' but much smaller cargo area and the beds were sandwiched in a corner between two walls. The 26Q has a roomy queen bedroom and lots of storage space. ours is 26'8".
  • I am still searching for a 24 footer...don't need the extra storage space..but they seem to have all disappeared..! I don't actually NEED one for this fast-disappearing season, but prices are better in the Fall.
