What do I flat tow?

that's the definition of manually selectable...you control it or, if you like, it can be controlled. you're probably thinking of mechanically selectable. my '03 wrangler is mechanical while our '10 liberty is similar to yours. both have a neutral position.

By manual, it is a little bitty button that you push with a pen. I would definitely make sure I knew the name of the transfer case and if it is flat tow-able.

Towed Jeep GC and a 2009 Smart Car. Beginning new adventure towing a 2016 Smart Car. I love the ride and increased horsepower.

Owned one for two years after they first came out, no mods. Had zero issues with towing it. No death wobble ever. Towed great.

When we have the grand kids along we tow our Equinox. Is a great towing and easy to set up. When just the two of us we tow a Smart car. Love the Smart and is easy towing and forget it is behind us. Now more kids and parents want to come with us so may have to get rid of one and get something even larger, maybe 8 passenger Ford Flex.

Towed a Jeep Cherokee for 4 years, two Jeep Wranglers over the past 8 years.

I tow a 2013 Ford "SHO" Taurus, a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, and a 2012 Rubicon Wrangler (not at the same time) and sold a 2014 Overland Jeep GC. The GC is very heavy and expensive to be behind a MH throwing **** on it for a long time. The Taurus and Cherokee are a DREAM behind the MH. The Rubicon (an unlimited) is heavy with lots of mods, but we take it to the mountains, MOAB, etc......it is the most noticable behind the MH.

I would recommend the Cherokee Trailhawk, if I had to choose from my lot.
