Besides a complete rebuild, the tires alone, you're looking at $1200.00 +/-, a chassis battery looks to be the least of your problems.

You aren't being hurtful or insulting. Actually, that was pretty much the "asking price" :B I'm pretty certain that I could have paid about $1200 or more and gotten something I could use almost right away. I am just wondering if it's doable. I don't plan on being able to stay in it right away. I anticipate at least a year or more. I am trying to DIY as much as possible.

I am concerned that there might not be a way to repair/replace the pieces that need it. But, I wanted to get as much info as I can before I proceed in any direction.
