We keep them in a black plastic trash bag in the shower. Easy to take out of the shower when someone needs to shower. We do go to laundromats in towns along the way to wash our clothes. One of goes to do the laundry the other goes to the market or other errands.
Here's a great way to wash clothes. Get an 18 gallon storage tub put a few clothes in it, fill about halfway with water add just a little laundry soap. Put lid on tub and start sloshing. Do this outside or in the shower if enough room. Slosh for about a minute. Take clothes out of tub to wring them out. Empty soapy water out of the tub. Rinse out the tub and then put clothes back in and fill halfway with water. Slosh again for a minute. Remove clothes and wring them out and hang up to dry.
There is a countertop crank washing machine made for RVs. Folks say it works well for one or two items at a time. Google RV counter top washing and you'll see a few different offerings.
This makes a laundromat sound like a vacation. :)
