Dang this suxs.
Contact YOUR insurance company and explain the situation to them. They may or may not represent you but you will not know until you contact them. You need someone on the inside on your side. Otherwise you will be stuck in that parking lot for some time.
Were you legally parked?
If this is your home and can somehow prove it the trucker's insurance should owe you for housing until settled. This is no different than if the truck plowed through someone's stick & brick home.
Requiring them to provide housing will also be the incentive for them to expedite your claim. They lose $$ every day it's not settled.
I hate to say it but if your insurance company will not provide representation or continued counsel you may have to hire a lawyer to assure you are properly represented. That should be your last recourse once you believe the trucker's insurance is railroading you.
