What does the alternator charge
I have a 2007 Allegro 35TSA 8.1 Liter gas motor, has two (2) six (6) volt coach batteries. Question does the alternator also charge the coach batteries as well as the motor battery ???? Thanks for yo...

I think this varies between models. It will be interesting to see what others answer. On my 2005 Fleetwood Excursion, the house batteries apparently don't charge from the engine alternator. I don't know why it was designed that way???
