Than you for posting this. Since your experience was totally opposite of mine, it caused me to poke around a bit. Sure enough, they have improved. Apparently GS's affiliation with Camping World combined with the vast amount of bad press on the net has caused them to throttle back their former tactics, which really were quite amazing (as a simple Web search will reveal). My experience is several years old, but back then none of their "opt out" mechanisms had any effect at all, even after I quit them over the issue. I quite literally had to contact the office of the president of the company to get it to stop--and I am no crusader against junk mail.
I am genuinely glad to hear that the situation has improved. I will lay off them in the future.
