There is a handful of tools - screw drivers, wrench, and pliers in a slot on the driver's side door and a 2 by 10 by 16 inch plastic box of little tools, bulbs and fuzes. I have the original bottle jack and have all 5 tires rotated. And oh, a fire extinguisher on the fire wall by the passenger's feet. In 240,000 miles in our 2004 Sportsmobile/Sprinter 2500 I have never had a tire emergency nor has there been a reason to have a tow. I have probably spent a couple hundred miles in "limp home mode" (reduced power). Limp home permitted driving to repair facilities to replace 3 turbo resonators and 3 inter cooler hoses. I carry a card from Progressive with phone number offering free towing service. I've never had to use it or any other similar service so I don't know if it works or not. I hope to have some major paint and body work done soon so we will look good and can continue to enjoy traveling for another 5 or 10 years.
