with less than 10k, I wouldn't touch changing anything, other than the engine oil and filter(UNLESS I HAD REASON TO). Maybe the air filter if it needs it. Get you mechanic to check the others, and unless they are low or contaminated, they should be good for at least 50k or more. In newer engines, unless there is a good reason, most fluids are good for over 100K. Other lubricants just don't go bad from time only. things to look out for are overheating, water getting into the engine and transmission, and brake overheating or leakage.
