At 8 years old, i'd replace all the fluids, grease all the joints to pack in new grease. Evaluate all the hoses and just replace since thats cheap when doing those items.
Oils, grease, brake fluid, power steering fluid, coolant, rubber, all degrade with time as well as use. Cheap insurance to a failure of any major component.
This also gives you a base line for your own maintenance plan since youll know the condition of the fluids. You may find an issue that needs immediate fixing too.
