I started in 2000 with a Roadtrek 190 Class B. I didn't think I needed anything larger because I travel by myself. Fell in love with everything doing double duty. But it turned out that I stayed in one place for a week or more to visit places in the area and needed to drive the 'B' to get there. So hook up and unhook every day or more. I found myself staying in motels so that I had daily transportation. And it was a pain to change the bed to a dinette and back a couple times a day and the central passageway from a kitchen to a bathroom sink to a shower.
Swapped it for a Fleetwood C and tow a Jeep Wrangler. the 'C' has a full time bed, shower and dinette, and I have the Jeep to see what I came to see. I probably could have lived with the 'B' if I was just staying in the CG. More about lifestyle than function.
BTW, the deal breaker came when there was a recall on the Dodge transmission. The fresh water tank had to be removed to get to the problem. Dodge wouldn't pay to have the tank removed and re-installed. Roadtrek wouldn't pay because there wasn't anything wrong with the tank. So I had to pay for a repair on a unit that was still under warranty.
