I have four wet cell type houses. Each set has lasted average five years before they start going bad and I change them out. The first two sets of four were Interstate U-2200 batteries. My third set I decided I did not want to drive thirty miles to get the Interstate batteries, so I decide to try a local auto parts store and he just happen to have four six volt golf cart batteries that were the exact size as the Interstate that were in the coach, BUT! these were manufactured here in the states by Deka. He said they were very good batteries, so I bought them. Can not tell you much about Deka now, but so far they are doing the job well. And they cost me a lot less then buying the Interstate batteries through an RV dealer.
Then on the chassis side I have two twelve volt batteries and those are sealed batteries maintenance free and that is my second set since I bought the coach new in 2003. The first were also Interstate sealed workaholic batteries. So on my second set I decided to just buy the new chassis batteries from Napa heavy duty twelve volt sealed maintenance free batteries and they have been holding up real good. And those cost me a lot less then the two Interstates I had bought before from Camper World. Like they say, Live and Learn! LOL
