Not necessarily! It all depends on where you buy the batteries. Lot of people including myself have bought batteries through RV dealers or Camper World. Two chassis batteries at Camper World cost me almost four hundred dollars installed. They lasted about three years. The heavy duty chassis batteries that I bought at Napa were exactly the same battery without the Interstate name, but both manufactured by Johnson with the same rating on the cross reference for around a little over one hundred dollars each.
So my point is that it could be the same battery but they just install or stick a stick on saying the name of the company that wants to sell it.
It is like if you buy a Caterpillar battery. It will probably cost twice more just because it says Caterpillar. But it probably is made by the same company that manufactures most of the batteries in the US.
