I replaced our 8 wet cell house batteries recently with 8 new AGM's. I also had the two slide-out trays painted as the previous sulfating from the wet cell batteries caused rusting and I was getting tired of cleaning them. Now, no sulfating, no distilled water, no more braking my back bending over.
Worth every penny to me buying the AGM's.

I've had my new AGM's since Feb. 6th, 2013. No sulfating/corrosion as of yet, they are clean as the day I brought them home.
My old wet cell batteries sulfated on everything but the terminals....especially on the battery trays and on the metal clips holding the straps, etc. The terminals themselves stayed relatively clean as they were covered in a red liquid/gel.
So far I'm love'n the AGM's!
