AAA is the least expensive insurance I have found. Unfortunately they only insure as a vehicle and not as an RV with coverage for all items in the class B van, or in our case a class A. We have National Insurance, more expensive but at least the MH is covered as our home and not just as a vehicle.
I'm insured with AAA Michigan as a RV. I was very careful to get their assurances in writing that all the RV parts are covered. I have increased liability coverage to 1/2 Million, uninsured to 1/4 million, have $500 deductible on all except collision with $1,000 deductible. My cost was $280 for 6 months for my 1997 Class B. And when I store it (in my drive) for 3-4 months in the winter they cut back to only comprehensive & I save $.
