Note: it takes awhile to get passports so apply for them now if you don't already have them. We bought a fireproof lock box to put all our important papers in. Birth certificates, insurance papers, passports, copies of living wills/DNR directives. Get extra prescriptions for eyeglasses and for medications in case you need to fill them while on the road. Discount cards (Good Sam, Passport America), Fuel discount cards like Pilot Flying J. We use the Pilot Flying J RV Plus Charge Card. Ditto on the Milepost Alaska.
