I have had my Watts whole house regulator set to 65 psi for ten years. I have spent three summers where the unregulated pressure was 140 psi so my plumbing and fixtures have seen extended periods of time at 65 psi.
Early on I replaced the kitchen and bathroom faucets with residential units that are rated to 85 psi. The shower is still the original RV type and still works fine.
